Kuby’s has been the mainstay of Snider Plaza for the past 61 years and is an absolute must see for those just arriving to Snider Plaza. It is filled with German folklore, design and the finest meats and cheeses Dallas has to offer. On any given day you will see its restaurant full of families desiring a traditional egg breakfast or those popping in for one of their world renowned Reuben sandwiches with hot German potato salad. They also process meat and fish so hunters and fishermen are spotted daily munching Bratwurst on a Bun.
Open daily from 7:30am-2:00pm and closed Sunday.

Always rated the best fried chicken in Dallas, you haven’t lived if you have not tried their fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and please do not forget the biscuits. This is family comfort food at its finest. Converting an old Texaco station in 1981, Bubba’s was born in Snider Plaza by Mary Beth Vinyard who had developed and perfected the fried chicken recipe that is still used today.
Open daily from 6:30am-9:00pm

Celebrating its 40th anniversary with its humble beginnings of striving to serve the freshest ingredients and the best in customer service, this Snider Plaza mainstay is the Italian food to go to. We have been taking our five children there for nearly 40 years, and I remember taking them there for dinner and telling them right after we were getting on a plane to Disney World! The manager, Ted, has been there the whole time and he still remembers everyone’s name. I highly recommend pizza, spaghetti or calamari.
Open Monday through Friday 11am-9pm, Saturday 5pm-9 pm and closed Sunday.

For over 70 years Max Fuqua, a third generation owner and certified nutritionist, has been the trusted source for vitamins and supplements in the area . In fact, this was the first health food store in Dallas. Although this is not really a restaurant, I could not go without mentioning their delicious frozen yogurt with 5 probiotics. You will see lines out the door in summer and the constantly changing flavors always fulfill anyone’s taste buds.
Open Monday through Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. Closed Sundays.

Established in 2012 as the first of Hunter Pond’s Vandelay Hospitality Group restaurant concepts, East Hampton serves the most beautiful tasting and looking sandwiches. The lobster roll is out of this world. And do not forget the homemade ranch chips which are delicious. There will soon be seven Vandelay Hospitality Group concepts in Snider Plaza so watch out for an updated list soon after we can sample what they are serving up!
Open daily from 9am-8pm.

This 56-seat eatery is the original of the Fish City Grills and Half Shells where they serve incredible seafood from scratch at affordable prices. They always have a plethora of daily specials fresh off the boat posted on the chalkboards on the walls. Their fish tacos and shrimp and grits are the best in town.
Open daily from Mon-Thurs 11am-9:30pm,Friday & Saturday 11am-10pm, Sunday 11am-9pm.

What started as a basic Lebanese sandwich shop in 1991 has evolved into one of Dallas’s tastiest spots for middle eastern fare. The cornish hen, only served at dinner, is made to order and stuffed with rice and is out of this world. Other must orders include the tabouli, grape leaves platter and the kabobs.
Open Monday through Saturday 11am-3:30pm and 5pm-9pm. Closed Sundays.

Francesca Nor opened this organic based, locally grown restaurant 13 years ago and has been going strong ever since. Best known for their seasonal seafood entrees and creative salads (the salad sampler and hearts of palm being my go to’s). They even partner with Turn Compost to reduce overall food waste. Of course-it is woman owned.
Open Monday through Saturday 11am-9pm. Closed Sundays.

For those of us who have harbored fond memories of the iconic 21 Club in New York City, which closed its doors in December 2020, Jack & Harry’s is the closest we are going to get to being there again. This latest venture by Hunter Pond’s Vandelay Hospitality Group is a tribute to an era that celebrated the fine art of dining. The essence of Jack & Harry’s lies in its unique blend of dry-aged steaks and rich New Orleans culture, presenting a menu that is new and flavorful. Two of my favorites are the Steak Tartare and the Roasted Artichokes. Located in Snider Plaza.
Open Everyday 4pm-10pm.
