Embrace the Outdoors with Exciting New Products: A Look at the Latest Trends in Outdoor Spaces for 2023

With warm weather here and hot temperatures on the horizon, it is important to enjoy our outdoor living spaces. With all the new products out, such as phantom screens that turn a room into a screened in porch, fire tables and door walls that open the outside in, our focus on being outdoors has accelerated. There are also new ideas in outdoor features that we will be seeing in 2023 take shape.

No longer is it just the front porch that sits in the front of the house. Covid changed this and now you see fire pits, large seating gathering spots and even pools in the front or side of the home. With four foot walls and landscaping, it can be kept private and makes a statement with a streetscape view.

The front patio space is taking center stage and becoming a separate outdoor space. With the use of a water feature, shade trees, or a zen-like garden as one walks up to the front door can create the feeling of a separate area distinct from the street.

Phantom vinyl screens are coming into favor making an instant sun room or keeping out the rain or pollen. There is heat in the ceilings, sound systems in the ceilings, and lighting in the ceiling so the porch becomes a multi functional space.

Rooftop living space for smaller homes and multi-living is a great use of space. Rooftop gardens, outdoor fireplaces and decks are being incorporated more and more.

Making outdoor living, even in Texas, one of the primary functions of the home. I have even heard of someone putting in an outdoor cigar porch! That would be the ultimate outdoor space.

How are you planning to spend your outdoor time this season? What is your current outdoor set up? I look forward to hearing from you this summer.
