Welcome to Preston Hollow

This magical, manicured enclave located just five miles from downtown is considered the estate area of Dallas and for good reason.

It glistens with glamourous charm and a tasteful mix of modern and traditional homes on lots larger than what is typical within the city limits.

In fact, its lush landscaping and timeless appeal has recruited many Dallas celebrities like Roger Staubach, Mark Cuban, and Jordan Spieth to plant permanent roots within the neighborhood’s sophisticated streets.

Did you know that Preston Hollow was once its own separate town? It was known as one of the three Park Cities along with Highland Park and University Park.

The town of Preston Hollow was incorporated in 1939 but with no taxes being collected and service fees being voluntary, maintenance became too much for its 891 residents and it was incorporated into the city of Dallas in 1945.

Its own city or not, residents today would vouch for this prestigious pocket of town to feel like a world of its own but in the very best way.

The area that began as a quaint country setting comprised of cottages and farmhouses has aged gracefully keeping its heavily treed boulevards and flowing creeks.

Despite a multitude of million-dollar mansions, the residents of this area have remained diligent in their mission to improve tastefully when necessary but to always strive to keep the beauty of the land that originally drew people to settle here in the first place.

At the end of the day, people are choosing Preston Hollow in 2018 for the same reasons as in 1857 when the 546-acre John Howell Survey was issued to officially name the neighborhood.

This area is ideal for Dallasites looking for an urban oasis without a long commute to the city center. This is one of the rare neighborhoods where you can experience five-star cuisine, fields of wildflowers, and updated elegant estates all within a block or two of one another.

Why pick and choose life’s luxuries when you can have it all in Preston Hollow?
