5 Can't-Miss Valentine's Day Events in Dallas

Explore five unique ways to celebrate love across the city this year. Whether you’re a die-hard Valentine’s Day planner or just looking for something unique to do on the most romantic day of the year, don’t let February 14th pass without celebrating in some way, shape, or form. From over-the-top dinners to day-long surprises, the possibilities are endless, so we’ve broken down the best things going on in Dallas this year to wow your date and make sure this Valentine’s Day is one to remember.

Drink & Sing

Kick off the Valentine’s Day celebrations early with the Drink & Sing event at Steam Theory Brewing Company on February 7th. Join the Verdigris Ensemble in singing the best romance-themed drinking songs from all over the world while sipping on one of Steam Theory’s delicious brews. From blonde ales to robust porters, no matter your favorite flavor, you’re sure to fall in love with a pint (or two). The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased online for $7 or at the door for $10. Each comes with a complimentary songbook, Verdigris glass, and beverage!

Reunion Tower Geo-Deck

Take your love to new heights with the ‘Love is in the Air’ package at Dallas’ Reunion Tower GeO-Deck. Soaring nearly 500 feet above Dallas’ skyline, GeO-Deck is the only indoor/outdoor observation deck in Dallas and offers 360-degree views of the dazzling city below. On Valentine’s Day, you can take the experience to the next level with GeO-Deck’s couples package that includes: a private VIP elevator ride, a digital photo and silver frame to commemorate the night, a champagne toast on arrival, and reservations at Wolfgang Puck’s fine dining restaurant, Five Sixty, at the top of the tower. This fun and unique experience is bound to impress!

Champagne, Chocolates, and Comedy

Give the gift of laughter this year with Backdoor Comedy Club’s Valentine’s Day special. Hosted at Dallas’ longest running stand-up comedy club, this show (featuring Emmy award-winning comedian Dean Lewis and acclaimed comic Linda Stogner) is a sure-fire way to make your date smile. Each ticket includes a glass of champagne, a box of chocolates, and a ticket to a future show. We can’t imagine a better combination!

Valentine’s Day Double Feature

Sometimes the best dates are made by turning back to the classics: live music and a night out at the movies. This year, the Granada Theater in Lower Greenville is bringing back its Valentine’s Day double feature with the help of famed Dallas showman Ricki Derek, who will serenade the audience with a live performance of Frank Sinatra’s most beloved hits. The music will be followed by a special screening of one of Hollywood’s most romantic films, the 1957 classic, An Affair To Remember, a show that will make this year’s Valentine’s Day hard to forget!

Deep Ellum Mimosa Walk

Explore one of Dallas’ most lively districts this Valentine’s Day with the Deep Ellum Mimosa Walk. Filled with galleries, street art, live music venues, restaurants, specialty bars, and more, Deep Ellum is a vibrant neighborhood, and the Mimosa Walk allows you to spend the day sipping and walking through all it has to offer as you pick up mimosas at participating venues along the way. At check-in, you’ll be provided with a souvenir glass, map, and wristband—everything you need to start your self-guided Valentine’s Day tour through Dallas’ funkiest neighborhood.
